Taylor Swift joins Chiefs ring ceremony from Liverpool – via Instagram live – to celebrate Travis Kelce’s third Super Bowl title!

Taylor Swift stayed up through the night in England to celebrate Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs receiving their rings for last season’s Super Bowl victory.  Hours after playing the first of three sold-out, three-hour shows in Liverpool, Swift joined the livestream of Chiefs player Mecole Hardman’s girlfriend Chariah Gordon and left multiple excited comments.

‘JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL LETS GOOOOOOOO,’ she wrote along with a Union Jack flag.  ‘CONGRATULATIONS,’ read another comment. She didn’t stay up to watch the whole thing though, explaining: ‘Gotta go to sleep it’s so late here love you guys.’  Liverpool is six hours ahead of Kansas City and Swift plays her second show there tonight at Anfield.

Swift also congratulated Hardman on rejoining the Chiefs on a one-year deal, writing on the stream: ‘AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE’.  Kelce himself turned up to the ceremony in Kansas City in a red-and-white suit, mirroring his team’s colors.  Swift cheered Kelce on to Super Bowl glory in Las Vegas in February, racing back from Tokyo to watch from the stands – she had been in Japan for her first tour dates of the year.

She went to 13 games overall, the first being a win over the Chicago Bears last September when the couple went public with their relationship.  Swift appeared at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium that day sat in a suite alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna.  Kelce enjoyed a fantastic season with Swift watching and was rewarded last month with a new two-year contract at Kansas City, worth $17million a year.

At 34, the tight end is approaching the twilight of his career in the NFL but speaking this week at Chiefs minicamp, he downplayed suggestions that his days in football are numbered.  ‘Wear and tear me baby,’ he told reporters. ‘I’m ready for it, man. Put the load on me.  ‘I love coming to work every single day and doing this. I’m going to do it until the wheels fall off.  ‘Obviously, I know there’s opportunities outside of football for me. You have to keep in perspective that I’m still a little kid when I come into this building, man.

‘I know I’m 34 years old, but I have a love to do this right here, in the middle of the heat in June. I love coming to work every single day.’  Next season, Kelce and the Chiefs will go for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title.  The campaign begins on September 5, when they host Baltimore Ravens back at Arrowhead Stadium.  Last year, Kelce and the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Arizona for the Super Bowl win that started the current streak – the team Kelce’s older brother Jason played for.
