The Chiefs’ quest for the three-peat could be derailed for a very personal reason related to Brittany Mahomes

Last week, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes shared the exciting news on Instagram that they are expecting their third child together. The couple, who have been together since high school, officially tied the knot in 2022 and already have a three-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, and a son, Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon, who will be turning two in November.

Some eagle-eyed fans have pointed out an interesting observation following Brittany’s pregnancy announcement. Brittany will have her child at the most important time in the NFL

Looking ahead at the Chiefs’ schedule, they are set to play in Pittsburgh against the Steelers on Christmas Day, followed by a Week 18 game against the Denver Broncos in Mile High City on January 5th.  The postseason is set to kick off with the Super Wild Card Weekend from January 11th to 13th. If the Chiefs secure the AFC’s only first-round bye, their first playoff game in the Divisional Round would be scheduled for the weekend of January 18th-19th.

The AFC and NFC Championship Games are slated for January 26th, with Super Bowl 59 scheduled for February 9th.
