But with Taylor playing twice in Milan, one of the fashion capitals of the world last weekend, her NFL legend boyfriend wasted no time in hitting the shops and falling further in love with classic Italian style. An insider has told The U.S. Sun that the two-time Super Bowl winner treated his mega-star girlfriend to some stunning pieces from her favorite designers.

Successful trips were made to Valentino, Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Fendi.  The source reports that Travis dropped $75,000 on “meaningful” gifts for the Cruel Summer star.  He said the 34-year-old loved choosing 14 “Italian-inspired” items, ranging from classy dresses and shoes to finely crafted accessories.

“Travis knows Taylor loves these brands,” the insider told The U.S. Sun.

“He wants her to have a true Italian touch in her closet.”

OPULENT GARMENTS

Legendary designers are said to be “in the top three” of Taylor’s favorite brands.  And fashionista Travis, just like he did in Paris when he treated himself to $81,000 of designer threads, went all-out in Milan, picking out four pieces – two dresses and two classy bags.  The embroidered short dress, which retails at a cool $16,000, is Italian-made with an “all-over micro-element embroidery,” according to their official product description.

He also spent $5,200 on a delicate tweed number with a side zip, jewel buttons, and a 100% silk lining.  “Travis loves Valentino, both for him and Taylor,” said the source.  The accessories were a $3,330 calfskin hobo bag resplendent with a chain and Valentino logo and a Garavani Escape large shopping bag in synthetic raffia with leather handles and gold-finish hardware.

Next up was Prada and four more stunning purchases.  A mini-dress with a “structured silhouette with straight lines that combine sporty touches and utility details” was bought for $3,200.  “The pragmatic and contemporary garment characterized by a stand-up collar, zipper, and patch pockets on the sides is completed by an elasticized belt with plaque buckle,” explained the official description.

VINTAGE CHARM

That was paired for $6,500 with a smart-looking single-breasted “menswear style” coat with an “elegant floral motif.”  The imported, oversized fit design has a single-breasted silhouette, a shirt-style collar, concealed buttons, and a back vent. A $6,500 sleeveless suede dress exuding “vintage charm” and “enriched by a refined plunging back” and a $4,400 mini-dress were also snapped up.

“Elegant, romantic allure characterizes this chiffon mini-dress with an airy design,” gushed the Prada website of the high-end mini-dress. “The style embellished with a refined floral print combines delicate transparencies and details with a retro flavor in a silhouette with soft volumes trimmed with lace.”

To accompany some of these majestic couture garments, Travis then headed to Bottega Veneta. Two pairs of shoes – Sharp Chain Pumps with signature knot chain detail for $1,350 and Cha-Cha Lace-up calfskin shoes with a rubber-injected leather outsole, which retailed at $1,600.

Bottega Veneta, the Italian luxury fashion house, is renowned for focusing on quality and artisanal techniques rather than flashy logos.  Travis indulged in two of their bags: a $4,400 clutch in padded Intrecciato leather with a tubular leather braided metal chain and an elegant calf leather shoulder bag, which cost $3,250.

Fendi was his final destination, where one more bag, some silk pants, and a silk dress cost a combined $11,500.  “The epitome of Fendi craftsmanship and creativity. A timeless icon, the Peekaboo was created in 2009,” said Fendi’s official description.  “Like the children’s game it takes its name from, peek-a-boo, the bag plays with the beauty showcased on the outside and that concealed on the inside.  “Made of brown calfskin, embellished with hand-woven white waxed thread.”

MAGICAL EXPERIENCE

The high-waisted, tailored palazzo pants are made of black silk crêpe, while the short sleeveless dress is “defined by the large, flowing foulard-style panels on the front” and is also made of silk.  “This Euro part of her tour is turning into an exceptional experience because Travis is supporting and showing her love 24/7,” said the insider.  “Their time spent in Milan was a unique experience for Taylor, as Travis showed just how much he loves to gift her meaningful presents.”
