Video: Patrick Mahomes splits up fight during Chiefs training camp as fiery team looks for Super Bowl three-peat
As the play ends, rookie tackle Kingsley Suamataia gets run into by Jack Cochrane trying to complete his block. The rookie out of BYU does not take kindly to that and shoved Cochrane twice before the players go back and forth with swings and more shoves.

Mahomes had to break up a fight at practice on Tuesday between two younger teammates
Mahomes sees two of his teammates getting into a squabble and is the first one to the scene to try and separate them. The scrap did not lead any mass confrontation, as Mahomes gesture to cool down both men appears to have worked.
Rookies trying to make a name for themselves as part of the NFL’s harsh 53-man roster cut to make it to the regular season is common. How they do that differs around the league. The Chiefs have as solidified a roster as any of the NFL’s 32 teams due to being the two-time defending Super Bowl champions trying to not fix what is not broken. Suamataia is trying to be part of a stacked Chiefs’ offensive line group, while Cochrane is entering his fourth season in the NFL. Cochrane was with the Chiefs for their last two Super Bowl victories.
