Not very long ago, the Instagram account of Patrick Mahomes’ charity foundation was hacked. Undoubtedly, many started guessing who the potential hacker could be.

Then came a specific individual’s name, which started gaining prominence in public speculation. This incident has momentarily shifted the focus from the teams’ on-field performances. The Chiefs have built an impressive 9-5 record after defeating the Patriots, and the Raiders have moved up to a 6-8 standing following their victory over the Chargers. Is Nick Dossa behind the hacking of Mahomes’ charity page?

Just as the Chiefs were gearing up for their match against the Raiders, a cyber intrusion struck the Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ charity organization, “15 and the Mahomies.” Reportedly, it originated in Las Vegas. The perpetrators altered the Instagram bio of the charity page to mirror that of ‘Vegas Auto Gallery’.

The Auto Gallery is a luxury car dealership run by Nick Dossa. This unexpected change led to speculation about Dossa’s potential involvement in the hacking. As the bio of his business profile and the altered bio of Mahomies page are identical, fans have speculated about the entrepreneur’s involvement in the hacking. Dov Kleiman was the first to report this on his X account.

He had mentioned, “Someone from Vegas hacked the 15 and the Mahomies IG account. What an embarrassing move by this hacker before they face the #RaiderNation on Monday.” This news has shifted the fans’ attention from the game to this. However, this isn’t the first time in history that this has transpired. Many celebrities’ Instagram has been hacked before and similarly, DeAndre Hopkins’ IG handle was also subject to a hack.

The world witnessed a hacking incident on June 5, 2019. This was when the NFL player DeAndre Hopkins’ Instagram account was hacked. The unexpected breach transformed his profile. Out of the blue, his account started featuring videos in Turkish and images of the Turkish model Kardelen Toprak.

Hopkins had addressed the issue on his X account. Hopkins informed his X followers of the hack with a straightforward message, “Ig hacked. Be back up soon.” Later, his efforts were successful in regaining control over his Instagram.  After getting back his IG handle, he joyously posted on a Wednesday afternoon, “I’m Back!!!” And with that, the fans were relieved.
