WNBA Fans All Had The Same Reaction to Angel Reese’s Instagram Tribute to Caitlin Clark
After a rivalry that had been building up for more than two years, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese finally got the chance to play together in this weekend’s WNBA All-Star Game.
The pair had one of the game’s most viral moments when Clark found the Indiana Fever guard with a no-look pass for an assist midway through the fourth quarter. After the game, the Chicago Sky forward made her new partnership with Clark “Instagram official” by sharing an image of the two giving a low-five on the court. The picture was a huge hit with fans, who embraced the break in the rivalry and celebrated two of the league’s most high-profile players.
“CC & Reese why i watch it” a fan commented.
“Love that picture of you and Clark. I hate seeing two great women fight!!” another fan commented.
“I like that pic of u and CC,” wrote another.

Though they faced off twice in the NCAA Tournament and landed on rival teams in the WNBA in their rookie season, Reese said she and Clark have plenty of respect for each other. “I love that we’re able to compete and still be cool after, regardless of the outside noise,” Reese told Women’s Health. “When we get between the lines and we’re ready to compete, we just want to win. That’s just the group of women—we always want to win, and we’re strong and super powerful in everything that we do.”
